Soft, buttery Hawaiian rolls transformed into pull-apart garlic bread with flavorful garlic butter, gooey cheese, and golden tops. Perfect for parties or as a crowd-pleasing side dish.
Ingredients
For the Garlic Butter
- 1 stick butter, softened Use unsalted butter for better control of saltiness.
- 4 cloves garlic, minced Adjust amount of garlic based on preference.
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped Fresh parsley enhances flavor.
For the Bread
- 12 rolls Hawaiian rolls Use store-bought Hawaiian sweet rolls.
- 2 cups shredded cheese Mozzarella or a blend that melts well.
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley until well combined.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the rolls.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the buttered rolls.
Baking
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the tops are golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Notes
Serve warm and enjoy the pull-apart texture. Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
