Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter, softened Use unsalted butter for better control of saltiness.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adjust amount of garlic based on preference.
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped Fresh parsley enhances flavor.

For the Bread

  • 12 rolls Hawaiian rolls Use store-bought Hawaiian sweet rolls.
  • 2 cups shredded cheese Mozzarella or a blend that melts well.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley until well combined.
  • Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the rolls.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the buttered rolls.

Baking

  • Place the rolls on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  • Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the tops are golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Notes

Serve warm and enjoy the pull-apart texture. Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
